The Air Force and Combatant Commands Business Group of SAIC is seeking a Windows Directory Subject Matter Expert to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.
SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation's information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.
Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).
Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in the entire lifecycle process, from technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure, through to application/product delivery. This individual ensures that system, operating systems and related procedures adhere to organizational policies and regulations. The successful candidate will be managing the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running Windows operating systems. Candidate will manage multiple Windows domains, using Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft End Point Configuration Manager, PowerShell and various tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
- Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.
- Use PowerShell to automate tasks, deploy applications and other infrastructure related tasks.
- Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
- Evaluates vendor products.
- Develops and oversees implementation of testing strategies and documentation of results.
- Provides guidance and leadership to less-experienced staff members.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Maintains systems documentation.

It is required that the Windows Active Directory Subject Matter Expert have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems or Computer Science.
- Nine (9) or more years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Microsoft Windows administration and engineering experience with Active Directory.
- Experience working with trouble reporting and tracking systems.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to function as a team member and independently.
- Location: Ability to work at customer site at least three (3) days/two (2) days telework.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II (ex. CompTIA Security + w/CE).
- Relevant Computing Certification.
Desired qualifications:
- TS/SCI.
- Ability to create and modify scripts primarily in Microsoft Windows operating system environments.
- Knowledge of the customer's processes and procedures and of the customer's production systems a plus.
- Prefer advanced skills in Microsoft Windows Server and related technologies.
- General knowledge of Zero Trust principles and related technologies.
