RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer to support our enterprise technology client based out of Round Rock, TX and Hopkinton, MA.
Responsibilities:
* Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Go (Golang)
* Develop Kubernetes Operators/Controllers in Go to automate infrastructure tasks
* Implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications (e.g. ArgoCD)
* As a Senior Software Engineer, you will troubleshoot and debug issues in distributed systems running on Kubernetes
* Security best practices in Kubernetes (RBAC, network policies, OPA)
REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have experience with Golang (API, Operators, CLI) build, upgrade, deploy
* Strong experience in Go (Golang) programming (3+ years preferred)
* Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring)
* Experience with any Cloud platforms
* Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
* Kubernetes advanced knowledge (RBAC, storage, ingress, HPA, helm, manage and create deployment YAMLs, CRDs)
* Knowledge of Kubernetes APIs, CRDs, and Custom Controllers/Operators
* Understanding of networking in Kubernetes (CNI, Ingress, Service Mesh like Istio)
* Familiarity with containerization (Docker, containerd)
* Proficiency in .NET Core and microservices architecture
* Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments
* Knowledge of GitOps principles (Git, ArgoCD) is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
