Description:
The Congressional Research Service (CRS) Government and Finance Division (G&F) seeks a Coordinator of Research Planning (CRP) to support the development and implementation of the division’s research agenda. The CRP has a critical role leading and facilitating research priorities, including product review, innovation initiatives, employee development, and research planning.
Requirements:
Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision.
- Knowledge of Congress, Executive Branch, Judicial Branch, intergovernmental relations and/or economics **
- Ability to facilitate development, management, and execution of division research agenda.**
- Ability to develop and implement a division strategy of outreach to meet changing congressional needs.**
- Ability to assess the quality and adherence to Congressional Research Service core values of products and services.**
- Ability to plan, manage, organize, and prepare public policy analysis.**
- Ability to interact collaboratively with others.
- Ability to Communicate Effectively Other Than in Writing
