THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a Armament Repair Supervisor (Title 32) (Permanent), Position Description Number D1262000 and is part of the VA G4, National Guard.

WHO CAN APPLY:
GROUP I - All qualified Male/Female Enlisted Personnel Enlisted Member (E-6/SSG - E-9/SGM) or Warrant Officer (W1/WO1 - W4/CW4) currently employed (permanent) in the Virginia Army National Guard Military Technician Program.
GROUP II - All qualified Virginia Army National Guard Male/Female Enlisted Personnel Enlisted Member (E-6/SSG - E-9/SGM) or Warrant Officer (W1/WO1 - W4/CW4), regardless of employment status (Traditional, Military Technician or AGR). To be considered as a Group II applicant, proof of appointment/enlistment in the Virginia National Guard must be attached if the appointment/enlistment occurred within 60 days prior to, or during, the advertisement period.
Military Grades : Enlisted Member (E-6/SSG - E-9/SGM) or Warrant Officer (W1/WO1 - W4/CW4)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Applicant must have experience or training which demonstrates the ability to organize assignments for subordinates, estimate material and manpower needed for specific jobs; able to explain manuals and work procedures; and to prepare production records, work records and reports.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Applicant must have at least 36 months of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the WS-09 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the WS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as:
- Experience in adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situations
- Experience which required the review of work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines.
- Experience that provided knowledge of various lines of work performed by this function
- Experience which demonstrates the ability to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and knowledge of shop processes
