You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the MATERIAL READINESS, AIRCRAFT MATERIAL DIRECTORIATE of COMNAVAIRLANT.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience and detailed, extensive knowledge of the policies, procedures, and operation of Naval Aviation Maintenance and Logistics Programs; specifically, Organizational and Intermediate level maintenance, NAVAIR Program Offices and Logistics Managers, principle and techniques of maintenance plan development, level of repair analysis, and analysis of reports and data available via the various Maintenance Data Collection Systems. Possess a broad knowledge of the structure and staffing of the CNO, Systems Commands, the Naval Space and Warfare Systems Command, field activities, Type Commanders and fleet activities as they relate to aviation maintenance programs.
- Experience and extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and planning techniques to review, formulate, and integrate diverse mission supportive functional programs.
- Experience and extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software technology and skill in the operation, design, management,
- Experience training and the utilization of mechanized information systems and computer-generated products.
- Experience and comprehensive knowledge of the principles and techniques of the various budgetary processes as they relate to aviation maintenance production, management, policy and the installation or design of mechanized information systems and computer-generated products.
- Experience and broad knowledge of fleet aviation/shore activities and their operational environments, including the interrelationships of squadron/wing/intermediate maintenance/aviation supply and other agencies of the supporting shore establishment.
- Experience and knowledge of the principles and techniques of the various budgetary processes as they relate to aviation maintenance production, policy, support, and the installation or design of mechanized information systems and computer-generated products.
- Experience and thorough knowledge of managerial and administrative techniques and principles of DoD and DoN necessary to manage and direct both professional and non-professional personnel.
- Experience and possess the skill to effectively communicate, orally and in writing at the Command level, messages, letters, presentations, technical reports, and formal briefings to any and all levels of Government and Industry; and to present both prepared and extemporaneous briefings for management officials, including SES civilians and flag officers to effectively present and justify program plans including any significant deviations from established logistics policy and defend his/her theories and approaches. With regard to written material, the incumbent requires the skill to edit for content, clarity, accuracy, and conformance to policy.
