Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR PRESERVATION ASSESSMENT IMPROVEMENT COORDINATOR in the Quality Assurance Manager (Code 900Q), Production Department Analysis & Business Manager (Code 900A), Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience implementing extensive administrative experience with nuclear production trade work and technical methods, procedures, materials and processes associated with the repair and overhaul of complex any vessels.
  • Experience with quality assurance concepts, principles, and methodology.
  • Experience applying naval shipyard policies and procedures as related to such functional areas as engineering, planning, production, and administration.
  • Experience wide range of complex products used in ship repair.
  • Experience applying knowledge of shipboard mechanical systems and work practices.
  • Experience applying audit, investigative and analysis methods and techniques.
  • Experience interpreting drawings, plans, and a large variety of product specifications related to ship repair, maintenance and overhaul.
  • Experience managing a project that involves directing federal wage system and general schedule employees.
  • Experience in project management, quality control, cost control, schedule control, and work flow control techniques.
  • Experience in oral and written communication to conduct effective personnel interview and training classes and prepare clear informative written reports.
