What are we looking for?
- Five years specialized experience that demonstrates the ability to manage a medium to large scale IT operation encompassing point of sale (POS), retail, merchandising, food & hospitality, recreation, accounting, and personnel management systems, with one-year supervisory experience; and demonstrated skill to plan and manage technology change and currency in hardware and software systems.
- Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, technology management, or a degree that included a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development and adaptation of applications, systems and networks, is required.
- Experience concerning design, selection, implementation, integration, and ongoing support of organizational information systems, and security of IT resources.
- Skill to assess, develop, and implement policy that governs organizational IT functions.
- Knowledge and experience with multiple operating systems including Oracle Fusion, and Microsoft, computer off the shelf (COTS) software packages, database management systems, telecommunications, security (including cybersecurity), analysis and design methodologies.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- This is a non-critical sensitive position, must be able to satisfactorily complete and maintain a Tier 3 level background investigation (Secret Clearance).
- Note: As an authorized and privileged user of Department of Defense Information Systems must possess or receive Information Assurance awareness by completing the Security+ Certification as a condition of access within six months of employment and thereafter must complete annual Information Assurance awareness training.
