You will serve as an EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE REPAIRER LEADER in the Production Resources Department (900), Production Facilities andEquipment Division, Toolroom and Equipment Maintenance Branch (900F12,) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

- Experience using a variety of both routine and some complex mechanical and electrical operating characteristics of tools, High Torque Volt systems, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to be able to troubleshoot rework, disassemble, repair, reassemble, replace and test equipment.
- Experience checking parts and replaces worn or broken parts, such as bearings, bushings, "0" rings, seals, defective wiring (except in electric motors) etc.
- Experience working from plans, technical manuals, sketches, and diagrams to determine clearances, torque pressures, calibration, make measurements of great precision and complexity for proper adjustment of assemblies and completion of tasks.
- Experience determining when tools and equipment should be sent to test, repair, and
- calibration shops.
- Experience using hand tools, precision measuring tools and devices, power equipment and shop machinery to complete disassemble, rework, repairs, balancing, and assembly of items.
- Experience navigating and using Electronic Facility & Equipment Maintenance program "EFEM".
- Experience reading and understanding SOP's and the ability to follow NAVSEA instructions.
- Ability to Manage work in mix trade groups.
