This position is located in Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate, HQFDNS, Training & Knowledge Management Division .As a Communications Specialist , you will engage with internal and external stakeholders through communication strategies and technologies to ensure the consistent flow of accurate information pertinent to safeguarding our nation's lawful immigration system.
Requirements:
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 03/24/2025.Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 03/24/2025.
GS-13 : You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
- Applies knowledge management and communications methods to resolve ongoing communications issues and to contribute to employee engagement strategies;
- Serves as a technical resource in assessing, planning, developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating existing or new or communications strategies addressed to key internal and external stakeholders;
- Serves as a liaison for communicating issues affecting and impacting the programs mission;
- Effectively collaborates with different internal and external components to meet organizational needs; and
- Communicates to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, action items, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.
