Description:
You will serve as a PRODUCTION SCHEDULER in the Project Support Team (TRF-305), Repair Department (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Requirements:
GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:-
Experience applying a comprehensive knowledge of submarine maintenance operations to ensure efficient execution of maintenance tasks.

Experience demonstrating a detailed and specific understanding of all aspects of trade operations in the context of submarine systems and equipment.

Experience providing sequence, scheduling, and testing requirements in the manufacturing, repair, and maintenance of equipment and systems for hull, mechanical, and electrical (HM&E), electronic, and preservation services.

Experience applying expertise in temporary services, paint and preservation, calibration, and procedures for the Command and Control System (CCS) and Non-Propulsion Electronics Systems (NPES).

Experience performing work that involves knowledge of software principles and methods for managed programs, as well as system development processes relevant to those programs.

Experience adhering to technical documentation procedures to actively contribute to testing and implementing software for less complex programs.

Experience applying advanced techniques using the full Microsoft Suite, including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server, Visual Basic, and other programming/data management applications to develop solutions in project management, data management, reporting, and presentations.
