This position is located in Headquarters Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate, Front Office.

As a Senior Advisor , you will serve as a subject matter expert to the FDNS Associate Director on fraud detection, national security and public safety threats, and law enforcement and Intelligence Community partnerships.

Requirements:

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 03/31/2025.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 03/31/2025. GS-15 : You qualify at the GS-15 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:

• Applying a mastery of immigration laws, policies, and regulations to develop theories and to solve problems.
• Providing technical and operational support senior level executives, supervisors, and staff engaged in programs administering the Immigration and Nationality Act.
• Conducting analyses on project proposals, and to develop recommendations for implementation and action.
• Solving problems and improving complex programs, processes and systems.
• Planning, organizing, and implementing complex programs, plans, and proposals.
• Establishing and maintaining liaison with management and government officials.
• Analyzing, establishing, and implementing program goals and objectives.
