This position is located in Headquarters Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate, Front Office.
As a Senior Advisor , you will serve as a subject matter expert to the FDNS Associate Director on fraud detection, national security and public safety threats, and law enforcement and Intelligence Community partnerships.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 03/31/2025.Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 03/31/2025. GS-15 : You qualify at the GS-15 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
- Applying a mastery of immigration laws, policies, and regulations to develop theories and to solve problems.
- Providing technical and operational support senior level executives, supervisors, and staff engaged in programs administering the Immigration and Nationality Act.
- Conducting analyses on project proposals, and to develop recommendations for implementation and action.
- Solving problems and improving complex programs, processes and systems.
- Planning, organizing, and implementing complex programs, plans, and proposals.
- Establishing and maintaining liaison with management and government officials.
- Analyzing, establishing, and implementing program goals and objectives.
