Requirements:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Expert experience of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements. Mastery experience of methods to oversee the assessment and authorization (A&A) process and conduct and certify security authorizations for systems applications. Experience applying information systems security principles and methods sufficient to achieve the operational acceptance of approved information and communications systems, changes, and modifications. Mastery experience of advanced IT principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices sufficient to develop and interpret policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of IT security throughout Military Sealift Command (MSC). Experience with multiple IT specialties such as security, systems analysis, applications software, operating systems, networking services, and data management. Experience with information systems security protocols sufficient to integrate information systems security with other security disciplines and to ensure coordination and/or collaboration on security activities. Experience with systems security principles and methods, sufficient to ensure compliance with appropriate procedures such as physical access controls, security measures, classification, and safeguarding of controlled information rules.


. Examples of Qualifying Experience:
  1. Attention to Detail - Perform validation steps, comparing actual results with expected results and analyze the difference to identify impact and risks.
  2. Customer Service - Provides direct support to Program management, Service Execution, and Mission Support to highlight how decisions may impact security posture of cyber and communication infrastructures
  3. Oral Communication - Suggest mitigation to Program Managers as appropriate
  4. Problem Solving Works with others to mitigate/correct security deficiencies identified during security/certification testing identifying risk acceptance.
