This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates.The selective placement factor is: You must possess a CURRENT Professional Engineer or Registered Architect (RA) license/registration issued from the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or any State in the U.S.(NOTE: You must include a copy of your CURRENT license/registration with your application.In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Directing the preparation of highly complex multi-discipline projects, serving on A/E selection boards, and assisting acquisition personnel negotiating A/E contracts 2) Providing timely, professional architectural products, services and consultation for the planning design, construction and maintenance of facilities; 3) Performing technical management and oversight on execution of multi-disciplinary design projects; 4) Conducting development of complete working drawing and specifications for "design bid build" projects; 5) Utilizing architectural design/analysis software to complete design drawings and specifications.
